Our Family Once Stood Where Many Families Quietly Find Themselves

The Everyday Family (theeverydayfamily.org) is a family culture company founded by Jordan and Shelby Maryniuk. It is not affiliated with everydayfamily.com.

Life was full, but something deeper felt thin. Work was busy. Schedules were packed. Days started blurring together. Without realizing it, our home slowly felt less like a refuge and more like another place to manage and keep up.

Then Life Forced Us To Stop.

In 2017 our home flooded, launching a full reno with two small kids and one on the way. In the middle of that chaos came news we never expected: Jordan was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor.

Suddenly everything fragile in our lives felt exposed: Our health. Our home. Our rhythms. Our sense of control.

That crisis forced us to the table to intentionally design the home environment and culture we wanted our children to inherit. The Everyday Family was born at our table to help families do the same.
